foodcycle.ai: AN INTELLIGENT DIGITAL TOOL ON STRATEGIC CIRCULARITY IN THE FOOD SECTOR
On July 19th, LAMORO Development Agency held a webinar to present to companies from different sectors and relevant stakeholders the Mock-up of the foodcycle.ai IT tool developed within the European project CEFoodCycle funded by the Alpine Space Programme 2021-2027. On two further different days, two other companies were involved in the testing of the foodcycle.ai Mock-up, through specific dissemination and awareness-raising activities. foodcycle.ai tool is aimed at supporting the closing of food cycles by formulating capitalization strategies on circularity in the food sector. This tool allows companies to evaluate solutions for their food waste and facilitates the matching between supply and demand based on their output and input needs. During the webinar, the companies involved were able to interact with the tool, test its functionalities and try to understand how and if it could be suitable for their business. At the end of the testing process, they were invited to provide their valuable feedback through a short questionnaire in order to help improve the performance of the tool and its features in the future.
