Green Point Short Food Supply Chain – Lighthouse Test Area in the SmartCommUnity project

Green Point Short Food Supply Chain is the Lighthouse Test Area in the SmartCommUnity project, coordinated by ITC – Innovation Technology Cluster Murska Sobota and supported by DIH Agrifood. Piloting activities organised through the Living Lab approach aim to enhance supply chain traceability and transparency, ensuring food safety while reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with food production and distribution. Additionally, they focus on minimizing food waste and loss, and regulating surplus food to promote resource efficiency and sustainability. Green Point Living Lab is open to sharing good practices with other interested regions in and outside Alpine Space.
