TranStat workshop in the Großes Walsertal, on of the project Living Lab in  Austria 🇦🇹🌿

On 4 October, a TranStat workshop with experts from the tourism industry took place in the Großes Walsertal. The focus was on the sustainable development of tourism as part of the TranStat - Transitions to Sustainable Ski Tourism in the Alps of Tomorrow project.

In intensive discussions, drivers of change were identified and future scenarios for the year 2050 were developed. It became clear that sustainable tourism models are essential in order to master the challenges of climate change and at the same time maintain the attractiveness of the region.
