For the past 25 years, Interreg programmes have facilitated cross-border, transnational and inter-regional cooperation as part of EU Cohesion Policy. To mark its 25 anniversary, a number of activities are foreseen, for programmes and members of the public alike:

1. Poster exhibition:

Show your creativity and achievements with a poster illustrating your programme since its creation. The themes and the methods of representation/production are totally free (painting, collage, drawing, printed or original work, etc). The only limitation is the format: an A00/2A0 (1189x1682) or A0 (841x1189) and in 2D. The method of realisation of this poster is fully in the hands of the programme. This is not a competition.

The exhibition will take place during the event; the organisers are also investigating options for a longer durability (e.g. exhibition elsewhere after the conference, online exhibition, etc). Programmes are also responsible for sending the poster to the venue. The practical details are still being finalised, the organisers will share the address to send as soon as possible, however, the poster should arrive to the venue by 10 September 2015 at the latest. In order to facilitate the preparation of this exhibition, we also ask the programme to inform their INTERACT Point of their participation to this exhibition.

3. Slogan contest

As part of the European Cooperation Day 2015 and after last year’s success of the video contest, the organisers have decided that everyone’s creative input could be of great use to find a catchy slogan to complement the Interreg logo. The contest is open to everyone interested in participating. Not just Interreg programmes or projects, but all citizens of all ages from EU countries, candidate and potential candidate countries and neighbouring countries are invited to submit their original, catchy slogan. In continuation of the branding process, INTERACT is now looking for an Interreg slogan to complement the logo which represents what Interreg is all about.

The winner of the slogan contest will be invited to the event in Luxembourg to witness the live revelation of his or her slogan, interpreted and showcased by an artist. It could be yours! Everyone is invited to check out the EC Day website and to submit their slogan between 1 and 31 May. After a jury selection, public voting through Facebook between 1 to 31 July will decide who the winner is.
