Our project HEALPS 2 focused on tourism based on natural health resources as strategic innovation for the development of Alpine regions. The project picked up the trend for health, nature and regionalism which has gained momentum especially after the COVID 19 outbreak. HEALPS 2 provided tools, strategies and actions to tap into the health tourism market. The project developed a digital tool for strategic assessment, an Alpine health tourism innovation model, training tools and an action plan including comprehensive innovation strategies.
The project partners of our project CIRCULAR4.0 have asked themselves how the transformation to a more sustainable future by means of innovative circular economy business models can be carried out. The project contributed to the transition to a circular economy in the Alpine area by focusing on SMEs and economic operators. For better cooperation, an ecosystem of innovation consisting of policy makers, stakeholders, academia and research institutions as well as entrepreneurs and citizens was identified. CIRCULAR4.0 developed and tested tools to attain the ultimate goal of strengthening digitalisation processes by SMEs to foster innovation processes and accelerate the transition to a circular economy in the Alpine space.
