The Interreg project ALPTREES started out in october 2019 and will help to build a transnational strategy for the sustainable use and management of non-native trees in the Alpine Space. This European Regional Development funded (ERDF) project starts its first year with a new series of events called "TREE TALK". Those of you who want to expand their knowledge on the various functions of trees in forests and cities are invited to come to the ADMIRALKINO on Thursday, February 27th, 2020 at 19:00. Experts talk about their work with trees and the changes and requirements for various tree species in times of global warming.

Interreg Alpine Space projects like ALPTREES' core obstacle is to inform, teach and involve decision-makers in forestry and urban development into our activities. Stakeholders should be able to make political and social decisions with regard on sustainable tree species, as well as to raise awareness of the problem in ecologically influential circles. Therefore, we would be thankful if you could also forward this invitation to colleagues and partners in city- and forestry development departments, whose decisions determine the future structure of our forests and cities.
