On April 9, 2024, the AMETHyST consortium organised the second exchange programme for companies, public authorities and experts, on policies and best practices in the roll-out of hydrogen applications. The event took place in Ljubljana.
Under the title “Establishment of hydrogen value chains in Slovenia: policy framework & pilot experience”, the event opened with a round table during which the experts discussed the role of public policies in the development of local hydrogen ecosystems, the encountered challenges and chances, and provided an outlook into the future.
The panellists on the round table were:
- Davor Rašić (Undersecretary of the Energy Directorate, of the Slovenian Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy)
- Mitja Mori (Associate professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana)
- Blanka Odlazek (Regional Development Agency of Gorenjska)
- Matevž Šilc (KSSENA)
- Vlasta Krmelj (ENERGAP, partner in AMETHyST and host of the event)
During the second part of the event, best practices and pilot implementations from Slovenia were presented to the audience. These included:
