Last week, we had the privilege of attending the CIRCULAZE by CURAZE Conference in Munich, a dynamic event dedicated to advancing the circular economy. The conference gathered inspiring presentations, thought-provoking insights, and valuable discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing sustainable business.
The conference’s focus on innovation and sustainable business practices resonated strongly with our mission at CEFoodCycle. It was inspiring to see so many passionate individuals and organizations pushing boundaries and redefining what’s possible. Leaders across industries are not only embracing change but actively driving it forward with bold, creative ideas—a commitment that strengthens our belief in the work we do in the project.
CEFoodCycle: A Circular Solution in Action
At CEFoodCycle, we are committed to transforming food systems by creating closed-loop solutions that repurpose what would otherwise become food waste. By connecting different stakeholders in the food supply chain, from breweries, bakeries, and gastronomy to innovative startups, we’re able to turn byproducts into valuable resources, demonstrating both the economic and environmental benefits of a truly circular approach.
Our project leverages digital platforms and collaborative networks to bring together businesses, researchers, and innovators, showcasing how circular solutions can be integrated into mainstream business models. CEFoodCycle proves that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand. Seeing the alignment between the conference themes and our project’s work was a powerful reminder of the importance of a collaborative ecosystem that supports sustainable innovation at every level of the value chain.
