Digitalization in healthcare and telecare

The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration Baden-Württemberg and the Steinbeis Transfer Center for Social and Technological Innovation conducted the focus group at the end of January. Six participants from various healthcare institutions were present, including managing directors of outpatient care services, a representative of a trade union, a representative of a Social Welfare Service Association, and a representative of a research institute.

The discussion mainly focused on topics related to digitalization in healthcare and telecare, with some initial ideas and visions being developed that could be useful for the further project.

These insights and  ideas serve as the foundation for the design of the workshop, which will take place in April with additional stakeholders from institutions of long term care and health care. During the workshop, these topics can be discussed and explored in greater depth.
