🐑 Exciting news from Natural Fibre Connect 2024 in Biella, Italy! 🐑
▶ The European wool industry is a rich blend of tradition, diversity, and innovation. To strengthen cross-border collaboration in Europe, Natural Fibre Connect and Collectif Tricolor have initiated a European Wool Network. This network will encourage dialogue, sharing best practices, and developing joint projects to promote sustainable and innovative approaches within the wool sector.
🎆 The initiative officially launched on September 20th in Biella, a world-renowned textile hub with a rich heritage of craftsmanship to draw inspiration and leverage for future collaboration and a circular approach for the whole value chain.
👥 The talk was led by Noelie Mochen, Responsible Sourcing Manager at LVMH, and Pascal Gautrand, General Delegate of the Collectif Tricolor, who also distributed a questionnaire intended to define avenues for concrete collaboration between the players in the sector. In attendance, there was also our Diego Rinallo, Ph.D. from emlyon business school on behalf of #AlpTextyles and Patrizia Maggia for Agenzia Lane d’Italia.
