To address this topic, Grenoble-Alpes Métropole, AURA-EE and INRAe co-organize the 13th of March, the regional event: “Prevention of natural hazards and adaptation to climate change: Acting today, yes! By integrating the challenges of tomorrow!” The gathering took place at Grenoble-Alpes Métropole headquarters in Grenoble, and gathered actors from all Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region.

This event was an opportunity for stakeholders to share their experience and exchange on the different levers of adaptation to climate change within the territory: introducing last major flood event on the region, concrete examples of climate adaptation through urban planning and the insurability of territories by risk prevention.

The regional event was also an occasion to highlight ADAPTNOWs contribution in developing solutions for climate adaptation, through the French partners’ project contributions, more particularly, from the point of view of the work carried out with local public authorities. The event concluded with the presentation of some of the tools used in this framework: ClimaSTORY developed by AURA-EE and the Inter-municipal safeguard plan serious game created by Grenoble-Alpes Métropole.
