In the framework of the Symposium +/- 1 °C: In Search of a Well-Tuned Architecture, MAO opened a debate on 8 November 2024 with inspiring guests on the importance of the necessary changes in the relationship between the built environment and ecology, and the joint action of the cultural, economic, building, spatial and environmental sectors.
In the framework of the +/- 1 °C Symposium, the MAO also presented the BAUHALPS (Interreg Alpine Space) project, which together with the Ljubljana Technology Park and other project partners from the Alpine region, supports the construction industry in the Alpine Region to make the transformation to a circular economy based on the principles of the New European Bauhaus, which emphasises sustainability, aesthetics and communities.

The BAUHALPS information day at the +/- 1 °C Symposium will be followed by a BAUHALPS workshop and visits to examples of good practice in the field of circular economy in the construction sector in Slovenia.
