Six Alpine Countries Unite for the BAUHALPS Project Launch

Oct 23, 2024

The BAUHALPS project under the Interreg Alpine Space programme, a collaborative initiative focused on advancing circular building practices across the Alpine region, officially started on 1st September 2024.

Partners from six Alpine countries — Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Slovenia — have already gathered for an online kick-off meeting. Together, they aim to transform the building sector in alignment with the principles of the New European Bauhaus, which emphasizes sustainability, collaboration, and aesthetics.

The project is committed to engaging stakeholders in co-creating a cultural and business shift within the Alpine building sector.

Over the next three years, the BAUHALPS project will focus on delivering key outputs including:

  • The BAUHALPS model
  • Concrete pilot projects for building transformation
  • A BAUHAUS toolkit
  • An Action Plan for the green transformation of the building industry

We invite you to join us and follow along as we work together to shape a greener and more sustainable future for the Alpine building sector.
