“What could the future of the destination Vals look like?” – The Swiss Living Lab Vals started to prepare for the future.
End of August the series of workshops to shape the transition of Vals successfully kicked off. The Swiss project partners, together with various actors of Vals and the regional development of Region Surselva started their journey to find out how the destination can successfully face the upcoming changes and challenges and how Vals can position itself as a resilient municipality for the future.
The first workshop identified the key change factors and driving forces that will shape the future of the destination and the mountain community of Vals.
Based on this, various scenarios have been prepared and developed in the second workshop. The participants focused on the change factors with the biggest impact – those that have a high certainty, but also those falling into the category of «critical uncertainties».
These change factors are very uncertain but at the same time would have a big impact on the destination.
