From April 4–6, 2025, the Technology Centre Energy (TZE), a partner in the ECOLE project, participated in the 20th edition of Ruhstorf Messe “Ausblick 25”, the official trade show of the Passauer Land. This biennial event, held in and around the Niederbayernhalle, featured approximately 150 exhibitors and attracted over 10,000 visitors from more than 100 communities in the Passauer region and 20 neighboring locations in Upper Austria’s Innviertel.
As part of the fair’s diverse offerings—which included themes such as media, technology, sports, nutrition, and ecology—TZE introduced the ECOLE project through engaging demonstrations of renewable energy concepts. These small-scale, hands-on exhibits were designed to inspire students to consider careers in sustainable energy and to highlight the importance of innovation in addressing climate and energy challenges.
Beyond educational outreach, TZE engaged in meaningful conversations with local community members and businesses, discussing ECOLE’s objectives and the broader impact of renewable energy on regional development. This aligns with the fair’s mission to blend unconventional and traditional, digital and regional, amusing and interesting, ecological and biological aspects for both exhibitors and consumers.
The participation of TZE in “Ausblick 25” underscores the ECOLE project’s commitment to fostering knowledge exchange, raising awareness, and encouraging inclusive participation in the green transition. Events like these are instrumental in building bridges between research, education, and real-world application, ensuring a sustainable future for all.
