Waterwise project partner – ARPA Lombardia

ARPA Lombardia is a public Italian institution committed to environmental prevention and protection. It provides technical support to local administrations, in particular to Regione Lombardia, which is the authority responsible for water resources management and planning in the region. 

Within the WaterWise project, ARPA Lombardia will contribute by: 

-Providing data from its environmental monitoring network 

-Supporting decision-making processes, with a particular focus on droughts 

-Contributing to headwater resources management, focusing on water balance modelling and glacier mass balance evaluation 

By combining long-term data and local knowledge, ARPA Lombardia plays a key role in improving climate resilience and sustainable water management in the Alpine region
