On June 30 and July 1, 2025, project partners of HACK-IT-NET gathered in Genova, Italy, for the 2° Consortium Meeting of the year, following the previous session held in Klagenfurt in February.
The meeting focused on strengthening the project’s shared vision and deepening efforts to build a resilient, inclusive, and innovative health and care ecosystem across the region.
Day 1 was dedicated to the co-design of the HACK-IT-NET Network Operating Model. Partners aligned on common strategies and identified key stakeholders and uptake communities to ensure long-term impact. Additionally, the HACK-IT-NET Toolkit was put to the test during simulation workshops designed to explore effective engagement methodologies for future co-design activities and local events.
On Day 2, the discussions turned to long-term sustainability and real-world implementation. Partner groups worked on crafting tailored health and care service portfolios by defining user personas and setting out strategies for post-project integration. A key focus was placed on identifying the resources, partnerships, and competencies required to transfer innovative services into local systems.
A central point of reflection was the concept of the Uptake Community. Through an interactive session, partners defined it as a network of professionals and stakeholders—including patient organisations, syndicates, municipalities, care providers, and associations—who are not only open to innovation but actively engaged in testing and applying project outcomes within their territories.
The next Consortium Meeting is scheduled for early 2026 in Germany, where partners will continue translating innovation into action across the Alpine Space
